How our transfers work
In a build-operate-transfer engagement, the handover is written into the contract on day one, not negotiated at the end. Across six completed transfers, this is the method we follow.
Five steps to a clean handover
- 1
Agree the end point at signing.
A date, or clear readiness criteria, written into the contract from the start.
- 2
Build it to be handed over.
Entity, processes and documentation are set up in a form the client can own. In one engagement, the Indian private limited company we set up passed to the client in full.
- 3
Transfer in stages.
By function or by geography, each stage moving only when the previous one is stable. One healthcare client took over 155 people this way with no break in service.
- 4
Keep delivery running.
SLAs and quality are tracked through every stage of the handover.
- 5
Step out cleanly.
Shared SSGSERV services, such as NOC monitoring or shared specialists, end at handover. Anyone who stays with SSGSERV is redeployed to other work.
